Website Redesign for Groom
I am currently a UI/UX intern at Groom, an eCommerce platform. Groom is dedicated to empowering businesses with a user-friendly platform that simplifies finding and connecting with customers. Groom allows providers to create their own shops, list products and services, and manage transactions.
Project Overview:
Currently in the process of redesigning Groom’s provider side and customer side. The project aims to enhance the overall user experience and interface, making it more intuitive and visually appealing.
My role:
My current role at this company is a UI/UX designer and also an iOS Mobile Developer. However, my work thus far has been primarily in UI/UX. I have been working closely with the owner of the company to ensure important features such as performance metrics are presented well.
Technologies Used:
Figma: To create, prototype, and share the designs in real-time
Things Learned:
So far, I’ve significantly deepened my knowledge in Figma. Prior to this internship, I had only really rough outlines for myself to go off of. However, in working this team setting, I’ve created interactive prototypes. It has also allowed me to practice in pitching new design ideas.
